I don’t know if it’s kinja’s layout or what, but everyone seems to be missing parts of the conversation including General Ackbar and Send In The Drone’s responses which pretty much cover what I was missing, not to mention my response to YetAnotyherBagOfOranges explaining that the resolution and power of the old

I understand the difference in resolution just fine, my reason for bringing up such an old system was to point out that even 10 year old machines were capable of rendering two or more “camera views” at once, which is kinda what modern VR does, except at much higher resolution. It just seemed like I was missing

Ahh yes that refresh rate  makes more sense on rendering requirements, not to mention Send In The Drones’s comment on the rendered field of view requiring more content to be rendered at a given time.

What exactly makes VR rendering require so much compared to a normal game? My understanding must be significantly off. An original Xbox could render four player split screen for Halo and etc, given that was just 480p. VR seems like it’s basically vertical split screen with two players, except each player is an eye and

Well, there are some wireless VR options out there already, but they are either less than impressive on content or “Id rather not eat ramen for the next year” expensive. Im hoping we’re still on track to get compact goggle headsets myself.

I still have my 20 inch Sylvania I bought right before the flat screen boom. I have’t used it in a good 7 years but d***it, if I have to lug it around for another 10 to play my non-hd lightgun games, Ill do it.

I have to agree with you. Theres a reason the PSVita and PSTV failed, and its not because they were bad machines. To the contrary, they were excellent machines.

back in sims 2 I had a guy living out of a small shack with no roof. Everything was fine until someone else put a grill inside his shack when it was just fine outside. The fire temporarily drove him insane, but he was supposed to be crazy anyway.

Ive got one of those friends who insists they are the easiest thing imaginable because the game literally gives you on screen cues to follow. Ill admit the cues look simple enough, but any variation of waving it back in forth in sync with them just didn’t work.

Yeah, Ghirahim was a b*** to fight even on my authentic hardware, I cant imagine beating him with some weird controller emulation.

That sounds like a tricky thing to pull off, depending on how the controls are integrated into the game to begin with. I imagine someone might be able to look at the data being sent to the wii from a motion plus, and make macros that send the positional data based on the direction the analog is being held while

I am legitimately curious about the handheld, as Ive never heard of it. The author mentioned they may be rebranded Chinese made consoles.

You mean the original Xperia right? I held that thing in my hands too. I have to admit it made my PSP Go feel like a piece of garbage. Solid feeling hardware with no real support from the Sony brand despite having their name on it.

I want this phone so badly, not because it’s a gaming phone but it has a dock that makes it work like a workstation. The added absurdity of other attachments is just the icing. Its out of my budget at 900 bucks, not to mention the $400 msrp of the dock alone. I can spend 400 bucks on a laptop to get the features I

While I could not recommend Motorola for their customer service, I can at least commend their controller Moto mod for compatible devices. I spent some time manipulating a demo unit of one at a verizon and it felt like a good piece of hardware. Problem is if games actually support it or not. I really wish Nvidia would

Here’s my guide for buying used LEGO bricks at a thrift shop.

Having bought it for ten bucks one of the last times it went on sale, my only regret is not paying full price for it. It has at least as much content as any classic metroid game retailing 39.99 MSRP, and then some.

Last chance to check out Rokenbok toys, they are closing down to focus on a non profit children’s education program.

Lets see, get Netflix for however long this runs until, wait for the Blu Ray release, cancel Netflix.

Yeah, Im seeing 200 bucks too. Probably an employee meant to make an adjustment to the Rival Nemesis and realized the mistake after the fact. Either that or a specific model from one seller on Walmart was 200 and sold out, reverting to Walmarts stock?
