We repainted the walls, added a tile back splash for the stove, re-laminated the counters, and installed a new floor. I take issue with the vortex being a myth. When you see the cold air mass move from the arctic circle to the US, leaving fucking Siberia warmer than Ohio, it's not a myth. This thing is pretty useful. I used it to save myself $40 on repairing my gas grill. I even used it to attach plywood to metal railings at work (much better than the zip ties they had up there).
