When exactly did the government mandate the killing of small hatchbacks and sedans?
No, the manufacturers are run by shortsighted people who chase quarterly profits. The government didn’t have much at all to do with it.
The government didn’t mandate that Ford kill off all of its affordable offerings. Ford was simply following the cynical “build less, charge more” pricing model that a number of car manufacturers thought they could get away with in the wake of pandemic supply chain issues.
They all thought they could be Tesla on day 1.
It seems like most of the automakers have given up on the small affordable car which was supposed to be the entry point into their brands. They might not be hugely profitable - but they get the buyers back in the showroom 4-7 years down the line when they’re ready to upgrade.
Is it just me, or did anyone else see the “hood open” picture as the car was somehow buried in a tree?
Looking forward to Li’l Wide Track’s debut album.
TMNT II on the NES in 1989 was a little over $90 at Toys-R-Us ... which is about $220 in today dollars. This was not super uncommon, either.
The most expensive, non-collector’s edition video game I’ve ever purchased was Shadows of the Empire for the N64 in December of 1996. That set me back $72.99. The fact that you can get the latest, big-budget Star Wars game cheaper than that more than a quarter of a century later just boggles the mind. Now if only Taco…
If I am on the jury trying your neighbor after they kill you, I’m voting to acquit. Just so you know. That would be one totally justifiable homicide.
Ford out here championing that you don’t need a lifted truck to compensate for the size of your privates. Heroic!
At the risk of being mind-numbingly unimaginative, I have to think that the right answer is the newest / fewest km Honda Fit you can find. With winter tires ours is a trooper in the snow. It gets phenomenal fuel economy. It’s got the best size : space ratio of any car I’ve owned. And it’s as reliable as hell.
when you want to erase any doubts about whether you have a little pp
They could’ve gone further, but HFW makes it very, very clear that Aloy is attracted to women.
I can only imagine the hellscape certain gaming forums are right now. (maybe less with the sexy lesbians though, considering the lunatic rant I saw on Steam that used Aloy - along with the Returnal main char - as examples of how “woke” had made all female game characters so repulsively ugly he couldn’t play the games.…
As someone who only played 1/4 of the game (for gameplay reasons), I’m very shocked by this. It really seemed to be lining up an array of bisexual romance options, so for it to just winnow itself down to ONE option (gentleman or lady) is ... odd. That feels to me like a Bioware game where ALL the flirtation is still…
I’m sure that “The Gamers (tm)“ are furious about this and are typing up diatribes with one hand while the other one is wrapped firmly around their sad, lonely pecker. Because lesbians.
It’s amazing how many of the covers are still burned into my brain after what, 30 years?
I often have to airdrop files to people for work who aren’t in my contacts and boy to I end up regretting it when I forget to change my setting back. I was in line for a ride with my daughter at Universal Studios a couple months ago and someone kept sending out photos of the QAnon Shaman. I guess that still counts as…
TBH, I’m impressed there isn’t more stories like this related to this feature. Being able to send random picture to every iphones around you sounds like the number one activity in high school.
