Gawker (the actual Gawker, not Jezebel or any of the other subsites) is like that one white male liberal who says he’s a feminist but then years later is discovered to be a closet misogynist with pending sexual assault charges.
I need a pantsuit asap. I love em.
Listen, I don’t think all people who dislike Clinton and/or prefer Sanders are misogynists. Hardly.
A black president brought out all of our hidden racists.
Many of them over at Gawker.
We really need to come up with a name for them. I’m thinking the Vagina Mafia or Hell on Heels, but that’s taken.
One look at this photo and the sound you’ll be hearing is a million Berniebro heads exploding.
Thank you. Yes to all of this. I think she would be well-positioned to work with what we have now and make incremental changes. I know everyone is all about NOW! CHANGE IT ALL NOWNOWNOW!!!!! but I tend toward the more pragmatic approach to things.
I disagree. Especially if they keep the house and senate. They would love to just pillory Bernie all day every day, protecting American from the Red Menace of Socialism.
If republicans had to choose one set of policies, they would have mostly chosen Obama’s. Until he chose those policies. That’s how this works.
I agree with you. I wish there were more people like him in congress. I don’t see him as an effective executive. Some of the responses he gives when he’s pressed on how he’ll actually accomplish what he’s proposing are kind of trump-ian (Q: What will you do about ISIS? A: We need to get neighboring states to step up!…
Actually, people too young to remember Obama’s 2008 campaign are the only voters I can understand feeling the Bern. I’m 39. I was so madly all about Obama, and I have no regrets - I still love him, but I realize that his presidency isn’t so much different than Hillary’s would have been. At least not in any way I could…
I think it’s that Hillary is tempering her desire to accomplish big things with the knowledge that all big change is a fight.
I’m saying she can get things done because she plays the game. Sanders is an idealist. As much as I agree with him, ideals aren’t going to eliminate the influence of corporations and lobbyists anytime soon.
These are your best examples of an outsider being successful?
Prefer Bernie’s policies but think Hillary is better equipped to win the Presidency in the general election.
Guys, guyssss, can we all just agree to vote together in the general no matter the primary outcome? This is really not an election we can lose.
Her family name is the bane of their existence, but if the republicans had to choose one set of policies from the two, it would be Hillary without a doubt.
