Hypnotism is apparently real. If you look up scientific research articles there are a number of physiological changes associated with hypnotism included drastic changes in EEG waves as well as heart-rate and galvanic skin response changes.

My dog does the exact same thing with the sneezing and yawning and groans, we stopped petting him when he barked, but he still does the sneezing, yawning and groaning. Recently he started licking us until we pet him.... dogs are smarter than we give them credit for.

I freeze loaves of homemade bread all the time with no noticeable effects! You can't leave it in there for months, but a few weeks and it still tastes great! You just have to make sure to use a heavy duty freezer bag and use a straw like a vacuum to get all of the air out before you seal it up!
