Wait wait wait... I’m from Albany...

this is super-thrifty, but i save the papers i take off our sticks of butter in a ziplock bag in the freezer. when i need to grease muffin tins or a cake pan or what have you, i grab a butter paper and go to town.

Came here to say this. YNAB *did* change my life. I was overdrafting my bank account every pay period, so that half of my next paycheck was eaten by overdraft charges. YNAB helped me fix my brain about money and get out of that cycle. I recommend it to everyone.

I’ve seen a lot ads for YNAB lately and how it will “Change your life”. I tried it a couple years ago. It wasn’t that impressive. It didn’t do anything my bank doesn’t already offer me. Or really anything you couldn’t do in a spreadsheet if you really want to control your spending.

Canseco learned the truth when his good friend Ozzie Smith finally returned from that alternate dimension where he spent the past 27 years.

Aliens have been trying to teach us how to time travel but first we have to change our body composition which we are not willing to do ...

I think the first thing you do is establish a pee corner.

I’m still enjoying my ex’s ex’s Hulu.  Yes, I am living the dream.

Its not like he can make another Good Omens without our lord and saviour Terry Pratchett.

Use your words, son.

A friend of mine posted a tweet/headline from CBS news a little while ago about a man who saved another man from a car accident. The savior missed a job interview to do so and apparently lost his shirt in the process. The man also happened to be an ex-convict.

Yeah, 100%.

I’m not taking Brooner’s side, but I fail to see how a twenty-odd year old sexual assault conviction is relevant to this matter...

At their prices, you can hit the $10 threshold pretty easy. Add the cheese fries and a concrete (or a draft beer) and you’re done.

Eh, for what it’s worth, the article got picked up by the Google news algorithm not long after publication, which meant it was getting dumped directly into the feed of every Google user who has an alert setup for “Elon Musk.” For one thing, that’s a lot of people, only a very tiny fraction of whom are regular Deadspin

I live in Boston and spent ten years riding an electric-powered underground transport system. Its called the “T”, short for trolley. The concept is approximately 114 years old.

You also forget that a Tesla does not have an engine under the front hood, that is one or two more passengers right there.

You are selling this idea very short.

Jack,
