I like the idea but I don’t think I would use it. It could be seen as a political statement and those don’t go down well in job interviews. It does depend on the career/industry, however. If you’re trying to work for Planned Parenthood or the ACLU or something, I’d go for it.

Japanese companies just need to get better at localizing things. Entertainment is a global business now and they are acting like it’s the 70s and there isn’t money to be made overseas.
