Fandom in general kinda sucks, to be honest. It’s great to like and love things, but it’s awful that people let that sort them into tribalistic, cult-like groups.

Obviously, Sony and Marvel are finally giving the fans what they want. They’re finally bringing the one character people really want to see to the big screen.

“Even more intriguing” implies that this was ever intriguing.

I was.  I enjoyed the movie, but I could have really used more multiverse madness.

The first issue of Captain America Comics featured Cap punching Hitler in the jaw on its cover. It was published in March 1941. America didn’t enter WWII until December 1941. Captain America has been explicitly political since his creation.

I can hear the chuds screaming about Marvel getting “political” now.

You know, I was mildly intrigued by this phone just because I’m a sucker for clear tech. But I’m not touching anything even remotely related to NFTs with a 39½ foot pole.

Even though the movie itself was falling out of favor at that point, the animated sequences from it were still in heavy circulation on the Disney Channel, IIRC. It may have been an attempt to rehab the characters and distance them from the movie.

I know of several people who identify as Latinx. Mostly in the LGBTQ+ community.

You should check out AEW. The wrestling is better, and the most morally questionable connection they have is that Chris Jericho wrestles there.

It was more 2000-2001 that people started really disliking him, IIRC.

It used to be called X-Pac Heat back in the day, but somehow X-Pac ended up turning into a decent person after he got clean, so people don't really use that anymore.

You’ll take Thunderstrike and like it.

Yo!

On the one hand, I don’t like the idea of yet another aspect of healthcare tied to employment. These things keep employees under employers’ thumbs, and prevent them from being able to leave bad employers or start their own businesses.

I feel like the really good stuff for Phase 4 was in the Disney+ shows, not in the theater.

Does the NES count?

Too many people see power and outward confidence as “good” qualities in and of themselves (as long as they come from a white male, of course).

I think that, at this point, The Flash has been so delayed that they just want to get it the fuck out the door and let whatever happens to it happen.

They have? I’m not aware of them having done any filming for Squirrel Girl, and Google is failing me to find out more. What’cha got?
