Why not both?
Why not both?
So, is he still going to be played by Nathan Fillion?
Was it better than Rise of Skywalker? Ayup
Horror to action is a pretty common one. Alien -> Aliens, Terminator -> T2, Evil Dead -> Evil Dead 2 -> Army of Darkness (that one is horror -> horror-comedy -> action-comedy).
I wonder if this is the pitch that is terrible on purpose to get the executives off the filmmaker’s back, like how, when Tim Burton was pressed to do a Beetlejuice sequel, he pitched “Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian” specifically to kill that talk before it started.
Yeah, it’s pretty great. The series portrays Johnny as a loser who peaked in high school, who tries to recapture his past glory by going back to the only thing he was ever good at (namely, karate), and subsequently has to come to grips with the fact that his karate sensei was a monster and the values he instilled in…
Because that would have made too much sense.
Yeah, Cobra Kai has a surprisingly deft handling of toxic masculinity and toxic nostalgia. If the producers from that are behind the Duke movie, I expect it to do pretty well with those subjects.
To be fair, we're all kinda used to Jurassic Park sequels being horrible trash. It was honestly kind of a surprise that Jurassic World wasn't completely unwatchable.
I’m still not convinced that the general public can distinguish between a MCU movie and a generic Marvel movie by Sony
Actually, no, I don’t. I remember he had some Stans proclaiming him real life Tony Stark, and everyone else being like, “Electric cars are cool, so, like, whatevs.” And then we all got to know him, and there’s still that small group of Stans while everyone else can’t stand the guy.
Eh. It depends on the kind of weird. There’s some weird nerds out there doing some really cool shit. And then there’s the dumb fucks simping for billionaires.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a huge fan of games trying to obscure monetization. But what is the alternative? $60.00 up front price tag and paid DLC later?
Literally the only things that give me pause here are (a) Space Jam 2 basically admitting that WB is becoming an algorythmically-driven content mill, and (b) that it’s free-to-play. Because, honestly, the idea of Smash Bros: WB edition sounds dope as hell to me.
I’m just glad that Ultra Instinct Shaggy is now canon.
I’m more worried about the view from the ground.
“Martin Coccolo’s Spider-Laird, who Slott dubs “the first kilt-wearing hero of the Spider-Verse,” and will hopefully catch on in the cosplay scene.”
And if the Darkhold was corrupting her here, the film really didn’t commit to that idea.
“Oh, you can argue that the Darkhold was corrupting her, but the film doesn’t give that concept much support at all.”
