Well, that’s their problem.

SteamOS is free.
I think the only place this guide went wrong is advertising this as a “budget” machine. This is a solid midrange build.
This is the song for the Deus Ex mod
Because console licensing costs money.
McMillen can think whatever he likes. Doesn’t make him right. People have been hacking games since games were a thing, and BoI has always had an active mod scene. If he honestly thought nobody would be tearing his game apart, he’s a fool. And there’s no great sin in doing so, either.
No, it really isn’t.
Yeah, that’s pretty much McMillen in a nutshell. He’s definitely a pretty big dick. Makes damn fine games, though.
Nope. 1 piece of bread = not a sandwich.
Precisely. Your one slice of bread folded over lunch meat is more akin to a wrap.
A pita is also not a sandwich.
It has to be between two distinct pieces of bread to be a sandwich, IMHO. A burger is a sandwich, since the bun is split completely. A hot dog is not, since the bun is still connected.
Whenever I see a topic like this, I think of Winter, a survival horror game for Wii that was never able to find a publisher because the common wisdom said that Wii was only good for shitty party games. It’s a damn shame, because it looked awesome.
Sadly, the DRM servers for the game are long since gone, so you can’t actually play those physical copies without a crack.
I’m all for piracy when you literally cannot buy media.
Honestly, this kind of stuff is all peripheral to the enjoyment of the game. You can just have fun with it as a twinstick Roguelike Zelda-ish game with a sick sense of humor, without worrying about all this other stuff.
Surely, you have some links showing all of this? Perhaps, since “Reddit covered this”, a link to that?
Did you miss the part where it would slow down everybody else’s food too?
You and I have clearly met some very different vegans.
“Mutant” means a very distinct thing in the Marvel Universe; it means that you’re a carrier of the X-Gene, and that is the source of your superpowers. Characters with other forms of mutation are generally called “mutates” or “superhumans”.
