The issue with the NFL isn’t that it has grey areas - it’s that no one has enough God damned sense and courage to take a stand about obvious situations. This world is fucking ridiculous.

If the rules force you to forfeit a modicum of humanity, you don't follow that rule, if you have any self respect.

He's not *completely* wrong, but I'm not sure he understands how he is wrong.

Im not saying you’re wrong, but I reserve “piece of shit” status for serious offenses like domestic violence or rape, for example. I didn’t know about earlier offenses by him of that severity.

I was all in on him a few weeks ago when he was being an asshole to other football men and football watcher guys were losing their shit about what a nutcase they thought he was.

the first season is almost unwatchable due to cringiness, though.  and the latter non-michael scott seasons are fine

god forbid they stream one of the greatest sitcoms of all time

I don’t think that indicates the extent to which sexual violence is accepted and faced as a fact of life to be reckoned with across sports as a whole, although it does seem that Olympics sports are undergoing something like that.

i know this is not normally a catchable ball, but since he should have caught it, should there not be an error ruled on the play?

Much as I don't care for the Patriots, anyone sticking it to ol' grey dick is a win for me

that’s completely impractical

I feel like this leaves something out - like how does it make your wife feel better if she's not checking your daughter's location?

Then why bring it up at all?

Basketball is such an obvious answer I’m a little concerned there was ever a debate. Also I’m not convinced Luis has ever seen an NBA player throw a punch.

i agree with the author’s take except the sandwich i had from popeye’s wasn’t very good.  i haven’t had a chick fil a one in several months at least though, so i can’t say how it compares.

i don’t have kids, so i can’t speak from that perspective but...

...Justin Verlander is a professional athlete. People write bad things about famous people sometimes. Sometimes you rise above it and act professionally, sometimes you convince your team to violate the rules because your feelings are hurt.

Is that the correct point? Is baseball less popular because of what's happening on the baseball field? Or because other sports are taking up more of the market share?

it’s kinda crazy to me that Davis is pretty much the best 5 in the league and lebron is one of the best 4s in the league yet neither of them want to play those positions.  makes it harder to root for them for sure.
