Full disclosure: I like the Series X design and think the PS5 is aesthetically atrocious while also not matching a thing I own and being too tall to fit anywhere. This comment will however be completely unbiased in this regard.

This is almost 100% some sort of misunderstanding between the author and the spokesperson. If you completed your business with MS there’s no way this would be enforceable. It just makes zero sense. I can understand it if upgrading mid-contract (which is still a bad deal), but requiring past customers who are done…
