Full disclosure: I like the Series X design and think the PS5 is aesthetically atrocious while also not matching a thing I own and being too tall to fit anywhere. This comment will however be completely unbiased in this regard.

You forgot that the 10 layers of admins, lawyers, and executives in between the actual hospital costs and the insurance company which also demands another fat profit margin on top of their admins and lawyers.

Couldn’t this also be an indictment on the stupid cost of medicine in the US?  I mean the people that went to Sturgis deserve every bit of illness and vitriol they have coming, but $46,000 per case?  The whole thing is stupid, from beginning to end.

Almost certainly straight cut gears. If LMP1 cars used EV powertrains, they’d sound just like this. 

The question is whether Microsoft cares, though. Consoles are notorious loss leaders for much of their life (especially the early years). If they’re still keeping you engaged, buying games, paying for live and gamepass on One X (or PC) for the first few years of the Series X life - so what?

Things like this just add to the argument that what we need to do is break the link between employment and health insurance - that is, that your health insurance should not be tied to your place of employment, and that your employer should not get to have a say in how your health insurance dollars are spent.
