Funny how the person who asked the question,  one of the few women Imams,  who is a human rights activist and progressive,  somehow isn’t woke enough for Splinter and gets treated as if she was a Rush Limbaugh fan.

She already has a record on FGM, and has done exactly what this reporter was asking her to do on multiple occasions.

The law says you can’t arrest someone without a judicial warrant. Officers trying to con people into thinking they have arrest warrants is the real lawlessness. Fuck off.

I mean, I’d be fine with eliminating the debt ceiling. It would help prevent disruptions and ensure the funding of existing legislation. But to the extent you’re talking about hypotheticals as it relates to prospective legislation as a reason to want to eliminate it, then it’s sort of beside the point.
