I always liked the XJ220 in white. Sadly, this is the only picture of a white one I could find. And it's pearl white. Ugh. :(

Greater Suburban Silicon Valley area here, and we pay $20k/yr for our two kids. Again, not posh at all ... going rate ... heck, slightly below the going rate if you ask me.

Oh man, you had me, and I was about to star your post until I got to the French Resistance bit.

Soviet Union, United States, more Commonwealth countries than I can count on one hand ... those were vital to defeating the Axis. The French Resistance was a thorn too be sure, but vital is a bit of a stretch.

Having Sting sing at my Dune-themed wedding was one of the highlights of the day to be sure. He still wore jeans (oh, Sting), but he did gel his hair up like Feyd-Rautha, which was pretty cool.

Aim higher.

Maybe a question/answer from the War of 1812 then?

Canadians students love that war, primarily for the same reasons not many American students are taught more than the Battle of New Orleans: Washington DC was occupied and the White House, the Capitol, and many other buildings, torched.

We did the same with our kids. It works for all the common cars and bikes unless they are painted red.

The Face Man approves.

I confess I'd never heard her name before now. (Ok, technically I still haven't as I read it.)

I looked her up on wiki to find she was born ... BORN ... in 1994.

You should get drunk with different people. Really, you should.

This.

I hear what you're saying, but to be fair some folks pick up/fall into accents/local affectations faster than others. Or it could just be code switching. I don't know.

Dad here. For our first child, my employer gave me one week of PTO. Yup, 5-days. After that I needed to get my ass back into work. Hey, they threw me a babyshower, gave a few gifts, and everyone got to eat some cake. No what, I felt good about it at the time, thinking this was my lot in life, and gosh darn it, people

For a split sec after I read his name, but before I saw the image, I thought you were going to post an image of an Ambulance.

Bay Area, California, and here I see hijabs every day. They are almost always worn by women who, by all outward appearances, look to have their shit together. (Confident, educated, financially successful, happy family life, yadda yadda.)

Maybe it's because I live so close to Oakland, but I still see plenty of old-school bikers keeping the Harley look alive. My numbers might be off a bit, but I'd say it is close to a 1:1:1 ratio for patched MC clubs (lots of Hells Angels and/or associated puppet clubs around here), random Jesse James looking

You are correct about the typo, but for the pedantics out there, SU does indeed mean something. SU = Samokhodnaya Ustanovka. e.g. SU-85.

$4k for a Viggen? Um, you should jump on that ASAP. That blue is a great color too.
