Yeah, I'm with you on that one; I much prefer displaying games on a TV. I don't even know exactly why, but playing on small screens, regardless if I'm actually enjoying the game, bores the hell out of me very quickly.

And I don't think it will. The Vita isn't exactly breaking sales records, and coming up with an HD port of a PlayStation 2 game isn't going to turn the tide for Sony. Let alone the fact that JRPGs aren't system sellers in the West.

Well, the one good thing about their PSP ports is that I finally got to play Persona 1 and 2. I had never played those.

I actually have it on PS2, but I never finished it. And I don't want to go through 100 hours of gameplay, only to eventually find out that they're releasing a superior version on HD. That would suck.

Isn't one of the benefits of mobile gaming the fact that games can be bought for cheap? Isn't their low price essentially what has made that business skyrocket in the past few years?
