You hit the nail on the head with the open-approach term. Which is exactly why I simply wrote ''open'' instead of ''onen-world'', since it's a game that presents you with multiple paths to take, but is by no means a Grand Theft Auto.

Is there a lot of grinding in Silmeria? I've heard the game is good, but there's a stupid amount of grinding to get done. And I heard the story was also weak, which is a problem for me, because I avoid —like the plague— RPGs with a weak story.

How about a Kickstarter? Now more than friggin' ever.

VP2 was the one for PS2, right? I skipped that one. I don't like Star Ocean (though I've heard teh first two kick ass), and yes; Resonance of Fate has a very, very good combat system.

Ugh... that's the one and only part I completely loathe from Crysis. It genuinely feels like filler. By the way, have you beaten Crysis 2? I played it on a freind's PS3 and while the graphics are awesome, the design feels... different. Like, you remember how Crysis 1 (and even Crysis: Warhead) was very open? Crysis 2

I'm not a fan of the story, or the soundtrack, but I've always maintained that X-2 had the very best combat system in all Final Fantasy games. It really made you feel like all that experience you had been garnishing through countless other RPGs was finally being put to the test.

Wow. Well, at least it only cost me $2 on Steam. I loved Crysis... I thought this was gonna be like Crysis, but with malaria. :(

Why in the living realm of fuck, would anyone care for the insurmountably stupid story that Metal Gear Rising has?

I don't wanna be *that* guy, precisely because I know this is just intended to be a joke, but no... Gandalf was actually Gandalf the Grey. Then he became, yes, Gandalf the White.

Hey, Toti. Sup. But what if part of what I love about games are those ''closed'' offline titles? They're a great way to sit down an relax. Sometimes, I play videogames, precisely because I enjoy some quiet time without anyone else around (porn aside). I don't need (nor want) all games to go fully social and/or online.

Ooohhh, I've always been curious about those rumored scenes! I have The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2, but never watched it wholly, and I'm too lazy to get my PS2 out. Seems like yours truly's nabbing them books!

Don't worry, buddy. I rarely ever play games when they come out, except if they're called Metal Gear Solid. Hell, I still have PS2 games I haven't beaten... or removed the shrinkwrap from, for that matter.

By novelization you mean the MGS: Digital Graphic Novel they had released for PSP, or an actual book?

Good for him. I guess.

Quite lamentable that my opinion on this matter bothers you. I still see these kind of things pointless and dull. They're nice and a lot of love went into the craft, I get it. But my opinion remains unchanged. Sorry, that's just how I see it.

What!? What kind of sorcery is this!?

I just finished watching the teaser. That was fucking creepy, man. CanNOT wait to see this!

Dude, I'm gonna have to do that... I downloaded Alan Wake on Steam, only to find out that it doesn't support Logitech gamepads. :(

I don't have a 360; I'm a PS3 guy, lol. By the way, who is that girl from your avatar pic? She looks haaawt, but I can't see well, cuz of the picture's size.

Very true. There was something unique in the environment Prime 1 created. And it's true that with the second one, Retro seems to have tried too hard to make the same fucking game again, but I dunno... some games should be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Should you craft a sequel, add some drastic improvements; not
