Right? I feel like I’m missing something, but maybe it actually is just spoiled ass rich people.

I never believe a cop narrative, so I can’t speak to whether this dude pulled a gun or not. But he WAS driving around with a gun on his hip, and cops are very well known to kill people who are completely unarmed.

He was lied to, then he took the further steps of believing the lie, learning ok depth what to say and do, and trying to use the lie.

Sovereign Citizens and related movements don’t so much scream “mentally ill” as they scream “Nobody can tell me what to do”.

Where’s the moral outrage about an obviously mentally ill person being unjustly kill by (multiple) police officers?

The further down I scrolled, the worse it got.

Probably doesn’t take as long. They likely haven’t designed the engine quite so “tight” on an engine that needs to last a 24 hour race.

Since all we can do is speculate, maybe it just ended up being a shit engine with fundamental problems that could not be overcome with any amount of effort.  There are quite a few other engines that could and should have been killed off in development.  The 2.4 Ecotec immediately comes to mind.

It always seems like these government contracts somehow are written so that the contractor has no expectation of performance and the government has no recourse when they fail to perform.

So they paid the company $2.1 million to maintain it, and that company just fucked off with the money? That sounds right, actually.

I fully agree, but you are not going to get that in the most dense area of San Francisco regardless of this art installation.

You know what else looks good? A sky full of undiminished stars.

Competence is always a good look, you should look into it.

They’re fine. The softer compound won’t give as good handling in dry conditions and they wear faster on dry roads, but I’d rather winter tires on dry roads than summers on snowy roads any day

2 1/2 inches of snow and they left cars on the highway ? 2 1/2 inches of snow where I live means you could still see your golf ball.

I am a confirmed East Coaster who lived out west for about 8 years. People who have to drive to even see snow are hopeless in actual winter conditions. Their tires and wipers always suck. They think cars with 4WD have mystical powers over ice, and that driving too fast for conditions is a perk of 4WD ownership. Don’t

Ah, the Land Rover in it’s natural habitat, on the back of a flatbed tow truck headed to the shop.

I swear vehicles all kitted up like that are multiplying like a virus, and all the dudes driving them act like smug douchebags.

I just can’t believe that the kick-ass bush bars and awesome light bar on that Land Rover didn’t keep him safe in the snow. Who could have predicted this epic fail in such an awesomely manly vehicle?
