Was posting a picture of her presenting as male really necessary?

It's disheartening to see that there are so many people still foolish enough to believe the myth of the safe and secure firearm.

And yet again another senseless gun death shows us that the only way to stop a bad toddler with a gun is a..... Wait

We can insist on laws and policies that better meet our current challenges, like higher minimum wages, stronger unions, and changing the tax code so that it does not favor the wealthy.

What exactly is supposed to be so private?

We can only hope

I wish all stories about jeb Bush started with "Florida man" at least then I'd get a chuckle out of them.

If you look at his little hypothetical Q&A he seems to mostly be concerned about how he can "appropriately" answer the question "Do you think she"s hot?" while also saying ewwww its a tranny.

What "physical issues" are you referring to? I would imagine that you are unaware of much information regarding your coworker's genitalia. Answer the question as you normally would. Their being trans is irrelephant.

It is probably true to say that i have excessively lofty ideals regarding "doing justice" to someone's story. I would like to touch on the last thing that you said however.

That song is the worst thing about Christmas! THE WORST!

I miss Callie Q_Q

So, I have typed up and deleted a response to you several times now. I regretted choosing "arrogant" pretty much as soon as i hit publish. It would be far more accurate to say that cis people telling the stories of trans people makes me uncomfortable. Which I assume is a statement that you're not likely to find any

The incredibly important difference between the two is that thinking that you might not really be trans because your experience is not the same as the trans experience as its described to you often results in people not seeking treatment and/or not seeing transition as an option available to them.

There is nothing about anything regarding this whole situation that isn't incredibly sad.

Trans narratives can vary quite a bit and for quite some time and still today even, trans people can go their entire lives without fully understanding what their feelings about their gender means or what the significance of those feelings might be. When you combine that with the way trans narratives have been

I'm pretty sure that's fairly common

If anyone wants to know more about her she does appear in Laura Jane Grace's True trans

I wouldn't get your hopes up about that. While this does address the issue of adding authenticity to the writing it does not change the fact that even in roles where people like themselves are being portrayed, trans folk are still overlooked. They're two different issues.
