MJ had Scottie when he got to the “promised land.”
MJ had Scottie when he got to the “promised land.”
It’s awfully adorable that you think you’re the first edgelord internet troll to ever fart out this incredibly stupid take.
Nobody values your input on any subject matter and you’re going to die alone and unloved.
I’ve told Scottie to “shut the fuck up” plenty of times since Last Dance came out too, but responding like this to book excerpts, which are things he’s more or less already said and we already know he thought, just feels like piling on at this point.
Scottie was incredible those two seasons and dragged a very mediocre Bulls team to 55 wins in ‘93-94.
I’m pretty sure people have been saying “SNL isn’t funny anymore” since the second season of SNL. To say that Kim’s episode- while very good!- was the first “actually funny Saturday Night Live in living memory” is a)just fucking silly, b)written by a 12-year old, c)written by someone who needs to see a neurologist for…
What exactly did he say that was out of line? The way it’s phrased in this blog post is misleading, because Baker never actually said he expects an apology from OBJ. He was asked by a reporter if he’d accept one, and answered in the most general of ways that in no way specifically said anything close to him thinking…
So you acknowledge that OBJ was likely complicit in this taking place, and exacerbated the issue in the comments...but Baker doesn’t deserve an apology for such a wholly unprofessional thing? Because of what, OBJ thinks he should have more passes thrown to him? (Which puts him in an exclusive group titled “Everyone…
Totally agree. I don’t really care whether or not Mayfield “deserves” an apology from OBJ, but if OBJ was any kind of professional human being, he’d at least apologize for that situation with his dad occurring.
He hasn’t had the greatest of circumstances, but despite being only 28 he looks washed as hell. He had an incredible first three seasons, but he’s either been hurt or underperforming since. It’s been five years since was at that level and he’s had exactly one year since in which he was both healthy and even…
For real. My dad coached almost all of my Little League baseball teams, and was the athletic director at my junior high and coached most of those teams, too.
“OBJ will show again why he’s special.”

At least in the NBA, it isn’t really a crapshoot. The better team tends to win those series most of the time and unless you really dislike the team that wins, the result is usually satisfying if you like to see juggernauts/dynasties, or at least one of the truly elite teams from that season winning it.
I hate when teams with less than 90 wins on the season wins the World Series. Just like I’d hate if a team with fewer than 10 wins won the Super Bowl or a team with less than 50 wins won the NBA title.
But that doesn’t discount that it’s dehumanizing and that’s where the comparisons to slavery are based
It’s a dehumanizing meat market to people who are their entirely of their own volition, with the very realistic goal of making millions of dollars.
What position did you play? Because you’re clearing working with some brain injuries here.
I agree that the NFL is trash, and Kaep’s blackballing was the last straw to turn me off of it altogether for a few years, but the sport of football is a beautifully violent work of art when played well and I’ll never quit it altogether. I’m a hoops junkie first and foremost, but I can’t ever quit football or baseball…
It’s incredibly dehumanizing! It’s a human meat market. They’re gauging your ability to either smash into other world-class freak athletes at full speed, your ability to run away from said freaks, or your ability to throw the ball to some of those freaks while other freaks try to sit on you. There’s no humanity…
Vick missed two seasons. This will be Kaep’s fifth full season out of the league.
