Just listen to how cool that machine sounds at full chat.

Excellent outward visibility - thin pillars, low cowl, low beltline, etc.

The manual :-)

Physical buttons. Large, chunky, solid ones with decent travel and tactile clicks when operated.

I hate all those motorized electric doorhandles with a passion. Pointless weight and wasted battery on something that is perfectly fine when analog.

I’d prefer to have buttons and knobs back:

Physical buttons, for the love of god, a button that does the thing you want it to do is so much better than navigating an infotainment menu or a nontactile touch button.

The “feature” I would like to see is a lack of features. Something like early 80s imports. That was enough.

Hydraulic power steering. Fuck all these numb electric steering systems.  I don’t care about the 0.2% in fuel economy.

No screens. Ive had enough of them. I strightforward, simple cars with switchgear.

Manual handbrake. If you’re making an inadvisably fast turn in the snow and are starting to oversteer, a bit of feathering gets your ass out and around the corner easily.

I’m not sure if it really counts as a car feature, but what about actually being cars? Probably 90% of the SUV market could be equally well served by a wagon (which would likely be better on gas), and yet more and more manufacturers are discontinuing cars entirely because nobody buys them any more.

Is size a feature? SUVs/CUVs/Trucks are too damn big.

Light weight and no power steering.

Windows

Good sightlines with limited to no blind spots.

Basic Car keys. Get rid of the start button now so prevalent in cars since you need the key-fob anyway within proximity to start the car.

Big block V8 engines.

Simple mechanical engines, no ECU and other electronics

Fair enough.
