Wow... this is horrific. Thought should have thought twice about releasing this... it’s like they’re just at the base camp of uncanny valley waiting for the sherpa to arrive.

He said, “well funded,” not relevant.
You’re not wrong. I test drove a BRZ... and returned it to the dealer saying that it was “ok,” but seriously lacking in power (and fun, as a result).
Catie—I spent two years running through all of the usual “cord cutting” options: YTTV, Hulu Live, Sling, ATTNow, etc. In the end, they all had some sort of compromise (wrong channels, poor DVR, too many ads, bad UI/guide, crappy picture, etc.).
Is live TV really that important to people?
Google Chrome, the biggest resource hog known to main...
Best not to dance on Apple’s grave about this while Windows hasn’t seen a stable release since... oh, ever.
I used to like Roku because they seemed like the only “app agnostic” platform. This is proving the opposite is true, and my preference for the brand and their products has dropped accordingly.
I thought nothing could be worse than “flame surfacing” language.
It seems like this article puts a LOT of emphasis on aesthetics which, I get... most of them look super dumb (the AX-6000 at least looks like the money you spent on it went somewhere).
The only thing blowing smoke is this claim.
I can’t believe Gizmodo is peddling blatant clickbait articles like this (when the “smoke” was discovered to be from vaping, long before the article went up). We get that you love the Playstation, ok, we get it...
Ah... so, this is really all about the fact that he’s gay, and his sister doesn’t approve. Well, at least we have context for everything he says.
So, The Root has nothing to say except trotting out the same old “we should be kind to each but, ‘nope—just kidding, we’re still assholes! tropes?”
Finally, a good (i.e., not fanboy-adjacent) review of the Series X. There are certainly a few “cons” (i.e., the exclusives), but they were appropriately balanced by the future-looking prospects inherent in committing to a next-gen console at this price-point. And the Game Pass and cross-platform capabilities simply…
Agreed. I cringed hard every time they wiped that foam with a dry towel... they basically just scraped the dirt across the surface when they did that.
No... it’s literally not.
The original Avatar was shite, pure and simple... barely entertaining, a preachy plot, and cringe-worthy special effects. It’s status was buoyed simply by the spectacle of it all. The sequels will not have this advantage.
I honestly have no desire whatsoever to have this PS5 monstrosity in my house. It’s giant, it’s unattractive, and the games don’t even look significantly improved versus last-gen... certainly not worth $500 or whatever.
So... it’s 1080p. Pass.
