Speeding isn’t the issue... it’s the change in speed that’s the problem.

There’s a lot more out there on this already (1440p @ 120fps, 512GB SSD, Ray-tracing, 4K upscaling, variable refresh rate...):

This is all nonsense... none of it works. Stop it.

Complicated and expensive.

So, I’m a Jeep loyalist (have two in the garage right now, one is a 2020 model... had Wranglers, Grand Cherokees and Gladiators)... but this? Forget it. I can’t even get past the horrid, Navigator-aping chrome. Then again, living in an actual log cabin in the woods as I am, I’m probably not the target.

So, the proper response is to ignore property rights, allowing this kid to get in REAL trouble when he’s older and does the same? Okaaaaayyyy.

“Far right”...

I mean Tesla does it... they just call them “batteries” or whatever.

Sometimes shows DO get cancelled for reasons other than race. It could just be that there’s a lot of competition, and not enough people found it interesting.

Correct. The V8 isn’t the problem (these things are heavy enough). But THIS IS a problem:

Please don’t consider this a shot at your writing, but I found the following offensive and completely off-putting.

This post summarizes the reason I’d probably never trade my Jeep (on our 4th or 5th one now) for a Bronco... all of our Jeeps are manuals—including the ones that are top-spec models. The fact that Ford won’t let you have a top-end model with a manual describes what’s wrong with their strategy.

Very nice. One thing Jeep did right with the Gladiator was to supply tools (in a nice bag) for every bolt you might need to address in order to remove the top, fold the windshield, remove the doors, etc. These aren’t the same kinds of bolts, but either way, I’m glad to see the same kind of attention-to-detail.

Agreed... it’s got the same, horizontal character line and everything. And at least you can get a manual (with the smaller engine), which is something you could never get in a modern Rover.

Kinda, but the lack of a solid front axle or a manual transmission on the higher-output engine kinda dulls my enthusiasm (and yes, I’m a current and former Jeep owner).

They are, but the lack of a manual option with the higher-spec engine is a real let-down, have to be honest.

I was all-in on this new Bronco, until I got to this:

“Unhoused man...”

You had me at “available in a manual.”

We all have different tastes... it’s ok that yours is bad.
