Seriously, Kotaku? Would you be running the same article if the electricity went out? I mean, the Playstation requires an "always on" electric feed doesn't it? Such an evil, anti-gamer position for them to have...

Yep... you'll deserve the crap you get. It's a great-playing game with incredible depth. AND it looks fantastic. Can't get enough.
Indeed... so, so true. Probably the best all-around console ever created.
Great pics. I test drove the Club Sport Miata this year and nearly bought one (I once had a '99 Miata that was great). Then I drove a Cooper 3 and bought that, instead. Both terrific cars and legit picks.
Boy, they truly will do anything for PR this generation. C'mon, Sony... stand on your own two feet, not on one emotional ploy to the next ("we only do it for the gamers!... and the millions and millions we'll generate in revenue... but mostly for the gamers!").
PS3 convert to Xbox One... The PS4 simply didn't offer anything compelling. It's basically just a spec bump. The Xbox is clearly shooting to do more even right out of the gate, and it has better exclusives. I like Sony, but Microsoft has a more interesting product this time around. Oh, and I had a Wii U... emphasis on…
I love how people who claim to be open-minded are the most close-minded of all. This group gas a right to express their opinions, just like anyone else. And quoting Churchill's thoughts on Iskxm hardly makes them racist... at least not any more than you calling the Tea Party all white.
Nice? How about pathetic... not going to say Sony can't give them away, but they're hardly in short supply. My local Gamestop couldn't get me an Xbox One, but had no problem offering me a PS4. I declined.
Dammit Kotaku, your bias is really starting to get annoying... The PS4 is marginally ahead of the X1 in total, but it was released earlier. Actual sales per week have the X1 ahead. So you could just as easily quoted someone as saying that, on a daily sakes basis, Microsoft is actually leading. Or, at worst, that both…
Excellent. So, finally all the non-gizmo crap can be removed, and we can return to enjoying Gizmodo for things that should actually be there in the first place.
Ditto that. At least games are still being made for the Dreamcast... doubt we'll be able to say the same for the Wii U in 5 years.
Jason, I was with you right up until you said we should "hope the Wii U picks up steam soon, too."
Dear Apple:
I don't want a PS4. But if it was real wood, and it looked that good, I'd buy one anyway. Reminds of old hi-fi gear... in a very good way.
On good idea is to proofread. As in, "...between your story feeling real, and it feeling like sketchy."
I agree. Too shiny. And too little movement to judge overall. The steam effect was nice, though.
Could not be any more of an inconsequential "surprise." Seriously, Nintendo, is this what it's come to?
They were smart in not waiting... the FDA is notoriously slow to approve anything, so their business would have been dead by the time the Feds got around to telling them what they wanted. Now, the Feds have reason to fast-track this, as it's in the news and kits are in the hands of consumers.
Agreed. Also, too much CGI. And hair... what, is Peter Parker trying out for "One Direction?"
Looks like a plunger, the Wii U is kind of crap, Nintendo's future is heading down the toilet... all kind of fits together.
