Depends in which part of the world you live. If you live in the Philippines and your average weekly salary is equivalent to $1 USD (not kidding), then you shouldn't feel bad about not having a TV.

Hm... let me see... the best feature? Oh yeah, that I don't have to buy one and can instead invest in something with a future.

"...in time for launch."

These are the same idiots that leave the "Intel Inside" logo on their laptops, and the "Energy Star" tag on their refrigerator doors. These are people who are so blind to design and aesthetics that they don't even know they're being idiots, yet still somehow think they know better than the industrial designers at

DTS as an optical output (on Xbox) isn't exactly inferior, as DTS itself is often preferable to DD (which used a worse compression scheme). It's only a downside if your gear doesn't support DTS. But most gear from the past 10 years, does.

It could be free... the Wii U is still a bad deal.

Here, here... mine is still hooked-up and in active use. Though I've played it more than I ever played my Wii U before I sold it.

Er, wrong. I have a Dreamcast, and play it to this day (it's in the same cabinet as my Xbox One—the only other console in that cabinet). The controller was FAR ahead of its time (rumble AND second screen), the console had Internet connectivity (that I actually used), and the games were fantastic (Soul Caliber, Power

Sorry, can't hear you... too busy playing all the exclusive games the PS4 won't be getting on my perfectly functioning and perfectly fantastic Xbox One.

In other news, the world is round.

Sorry, Tina, but when it comes to the Wii U, the best shopping advice is: "don't buy one."

Nope. I wanted a manual AND all the options. And I hate when manufacturers assume that because I want to enjoy the drive, I can't afford the nicer versions.

I've been putting my Xbox One through a lot in my over-packed equipment rack with poor ventilation and have had zero problems. Still, it's good to know MS is taking care of the very few that are having problems with their machines (ironically for MS, the optical drive is a part of the machine they just spec'd and

Sorry, but my Wii U Deluxe Edition was a POS. It had multiple system updates, ran buggy and was slow as crap. Did it outright die? No. But neither has my Xbox One, which is purring right along and giving me more joy than that overpriced slab of plastic from Nintendo.

So much fail...

See, it has to be the Ferrari because it has the manual. If you're going to go with a 928, find one with the dog-leg manual, not the Mercedes-sourced autobox. I say this from experience (yes, both of our Porsches were manual)...

I still wouldn't buy it... I got a Tacoma because I could get it with a 6 speed manual (can't get that in any American truck, including this one). It's wonderful in the half-mile of rough, off-road terrain to and from our cabin, and fun to drive on the way to work and back.

Waaaay too expensive. I built one for my office. It cost 1/4 the price and plays 4,000 games. And ours contains a custom, 150 watt subwoofer in the bottom chamber and a Nintendo Wii behind the coin door.

Different can be good, if there are good reasons to be different.
