This thing has only done ~60K miles because it sucks to drive.

I have a 2000 911, and while I don’t mind the headlights (they do look better with the upgraded Litronic version that my car has), it’s really the last thing I care about. The car is fun, fast, and for me — reliable. All for slightly over $20K.

Not for nothing, but car forums are among the most racist places on the internet in my experience. The only thing that doesn’t make this an enthusiastic NP is that these things aren't exactly drivers cars. 266 HP for a car this size and turn the wheel and eventually something will happen. Still an NP, but more fun to wax than drive.

I’m sure #notallastonowners but the guy down the street from me bought a white Vantage, smoked the lenses, put black wheels on it, and painted it yellow. At $4,800 fix the IMS for $2K and then drive it like you stole it. You can’t really do much about bore scoring except change the oil at a reasonable mileage, and the early engines were less susceptible anyway. I’ve got this car’s big brother, and I can only imagine how fun a lighter, mid engine little brother would be…
