One of the better observations on that first essay I’ve seen is that the WPost editor who was most likely to have signed off on the essay is Jewish, meaning that he almost certainly saw all the racist undertones and published it anyway. There’s nothing quite so sweet as giving a bigot just enough rope to hang herself.
