I was a United 1k flyer (100,000+ per year) for years and I watched the airline slide into decline ever since they merged with Continental. Their past CEO, Jeff Smisek was a callous cheat, Munoz is totally tone deaf regarding PR and customer service and the employees are disgruntled and not shy about complaining in

I get pissed when out taxpayer money builds these things to protect houses that were built decades after the highway existed. The home buyer knows up front that they are going to live next to a busy highway, deal with it.

It’s Russia, anything goes.

I’ve always wanted to see a car with concrete tires running on rubber roads.

Weird. Not even an attempt to make the turn.

Probably both.

I grew up in Westport, CT and saw Paul Newman driving around in a Volvo wagon with a V-6 or V-8 racing engine and a VW Beetle body bolted to a mid-engine racing chassis and engine. Ultra cool.

Wow, this is obscure. If you asked the question “What American product in the 1980s was named the Somerset?”, 99 out of 100 could not have told you it was a Buick, or even a car, including me.

As hard as it is, I never react to other drivers, no matter what asshats they are. There are way too many angry people out there. In fact, the best thing to do is smile and wave, it throws them off base.

Man in trench coat: “Hopefully one case of Jagermeister is enough. I really want to get laid at this party.”

Why write a giant review about something we can’t buy? What’s next- The Best Cuban Cigars?

Silly boy, are you expecting proofreading??

Good for him. Hopefully we can soon buy decent octane gas in the state too.

This quote is from flight attendant union boss, who’s job it is to make them work as little as possible and to try to elevate everything to “safety”, which is nonsense.

“While flight attendants are there to make your flight comfortable, [it’s] not a service industry. They’re not waiters,”

Ahh, interesting. Nice work.
