Class action lawsuits piss me off. The consumer never gets anything meaningful for being screwed or deceived ($20 or so usually), the lawyers get millions.

While it may be possible, I think it is horrible advice, especially for a 16 yr. old, which is what I was when given this advice.

One of the older brother grease monkeys in our neighborhood told me that if you matched the revs just right, you could shift a manual without pressing the clutch pedal. I tried this repeatedly in our VW bug and it did nothing but grind the shit of the transmission.

If the perp is running Evinrude outboards (like in the intro video), there’s no need to forcefully stop them. They will quit on their own pretty quickly.

The American consul in Australia should ride around in a big kangaroo’s pouch.

If driving in Tokyo is like many other major cities outside the U.S., you probably are better off not driving at all, no less in a fucking go kart.

I’d be pissed if I was a shareholder. The idea is to make more money, not spend more.

What’s the relevance of naming the brand of the car he ran into (Pontiac)?

Just buy a VW GTI.

So true. The other thing people don’t get is that it is cheaper to keep driving an older car and pay the repair bills than buy a new one. Those monthly payments are way more than occasional repairs, even ones that cost a few thousand bucks.

Good riddance.

Sorry, I am the anti-Tesla.

I wish he worked in my neighborhood. I never want to see another piece of junkmail.

Yeah, I get that but it’s still debt that many can’t afford. $50k is $50k, even if it’s spread out.

Too bad this bravery didn’t carry forward to the general military and populace who rolled over to Hitler in WWII.

Time to see the optometrist or put down the bong.
