Why no mention of Samsung’s less expensive but arguably much better line of soundbars? Example: HW-M360 (currently $140 at Walmart), which is only 2 speakers but does come with a Subwoofer and the option to add more satellite speakers for about $100.

At this price point, most of us are just looking for something

Those rocker panels, with that level of photo definition, made me extremely nervous. Terrified I think is the word. I can smell the rust from my desk.

Blind spot monitoring is, I think, on par with ABS as one of those bare minimum must-haves.

I think you’re missing OP’s point. Suppose I buy a Prius and drive it for 300k miles. You buy a diesel that’s known to pollute but otherwise meets the basic requirements in OP’s scenario, and you drive it 10k miles in the same period of time. In the end, I will pay more and should pay more relative to you because I

Maybe this has already been answered, and Kinja is just be awful, but is there any reason you didn’t put any dielectric grease in the plug boots before re-installing them?

Captain Raymond Holt, anyone?

I, too have an S5. microUSB port has been broken for close to a year, and the headphone jack sometimes doesn’t work. Yet, I still want to keep using it.

As a parent, sometimes you just need 30 minutes to yourself. Nurse the infant. Shower. Use the bathroom uninterrupted. When it’s 0 degrees outside, what else are you going to do? Sure TV works fine but sometimes you’re sick of hearing PJ Masks blasting over and over and over and over and Lunagirl is such a whiny brat.

I think there should be a line somewhere in here like “or, at least go and get a set of General Altimax Arctics if you don’t want to spend all that much money”

Just coming in to say that BTB is probably the one ingredient in the grocery store in the last two years that has stuck as a regular staple in my kitchen. A close second is jarred Harissa.

We have a coffee table. We love a coffee table. Even with two young boys.

Of course I care about fuel economy, and I’m glad to pay for a slightly used vehicle that might cost a little more but get better fuel economy. I have a 60 mile round trip commute every day and while I’m working to cut it to less than 10 in the future, for the short term that’s my reality

Still ExtremeContact (ContiExtremeContact DWS 06 if you’re pedantic). Still great tires. There are 3 Audi’s, a CTS-V, a 9-3 Aero, a few Inifinitis, some BMWs, and a few other cars in my work parking lot with these installed, they’re no joke.

If you have the storage space and the room to do it, I highly recommend getting a set of winter tires mounted on steelies that you can store until needed.

Is this finally the one where you and Peter Monshizadeh get together to fix up a car?

This is one of those times I really love having a car with automatic climate control. Set it to ~74 and completely forget it.

YT Kids just recently became a sore subject for us.

Housing is a hard one, definitely something a lot of people get caught up on when delving into FI/RE. There are a lot of entrenched opinions & mindsets when it comes to housing.

If you’re reading this comment, and you felt like any aspect of this article piqued your interest, I highly recommend checking out Mr. Money Mustache. I found his blog/website in the comments section of a Jalopnik article 2 years ago and started reading his site from the beginning, about 1-3 posts a day. It’s a really

I grew up in the area. All of Plymouth is awful for trains stopping on crossings. I can’t tell you how many times I was late for school because of a damn train that sat at a crossing for 30+ minutes.
