I don't know, I think that even if I haven't read the comics the first season would have dragged for me.

I think I'm having the same problem I had with the book, I don't care about or empathize with any of the main characters.
Even Shadow (who is a lot more active here than the wooden block that he was in the book) doesn't really manage to get any kind of meaningful response out of me.
So when all these fantastical stuff
