The bigger question is... why in God’s name is anyone willing to fuck Rudy Giuliani? Not enough money in the world.
There are no ideological pure politicians. Obama’s drone strikes, deportations, etc. But then there are those like Trump whose primary objective is a grab for power. I’ll take a flawed leader every time over a moron with a god complex
I live in AZ and have lived in the shadow of Arpaio’s tent city my whole life. Grown men die from heat stroke in there as conditions reach inhumane levels of hot. Temperatures inside these tents reach 130 degrees F in summer. This is beyond, BEYOND cruel.
I’ll never get it either. In fact, when I see teacher’s striking in red states or Medicaid expanding in red states, I’m happy for them. It’s a weird way to live.
Barring anything catastrophic happening, no. I don’t think it’s possible.
That’s what it’s all about, right there.
The trump supporters are fucking creaming in their pants after his performance there. A tweet from James Wood said no matter what happens next his vote was worth it just because of this.
How did I miss the erections?! Probably all the throat clearing and father-son pot smoking.
See: OMG IS JENNIFER ANNISTON EVER GOING TO HAVE A KID OR FIND TRUE LOVE?
(She’s famous, beautiful and rich. Pretty sure she’s doing OK.)
I agree with that. It made Samantha more human. But mostly the show treated her like she was some sort of anomaly or sexual unicorn because she actually enjoyed being single.
Also, Clooney divorced in 1993 and stayed single for over 20 years. If a woman did that, her narrative would have been much different.
Even though SATC is hailed for being groundbreaking, I still view it as a pretty conservative show when it comes to being single. None of the women seem to be genuinely happy while they are single, except for Samantha, and even she had a few breakdowns whenever she was alone and had nobody to unzip a dress, undo a…
Evangelical Protection Agency.
I like Claire Danes. It’s Dermot Mulroney’s character I don’t like. I’ve always thought he was the real ass in the movie.
- SJP was terribly miscast
I always have to skip the dinner scene. It’s so uncomfortable.
I watch that dang movie and bawl my eyes out every year. I have to say that it is truly one of my top Christmas movies. It’s got an amazing cast. SJP was perfect in that role.
There are parts of that movie I really like. The instances of each family member coming to terms with Diane Keaton’s illness are good. Then there are the dumb aggravating parts. I want to like Claire Danes but her character adds nothing to that film. What is she so okay with coming to a strange house during a family…
It takes years to unpack the trauma of watching The Family Stone.
