I’m an atheist who read that book in a difficult point and some of it was very helpful. She is very religious but I don’t get sanctimony from her.

I agree in general but I also read her book and she goes into some detail about sexual problems so I don’t think that’s a “stay and work it out thing” plus marriage counselors are likely to define their success by keeping people married.

Some schools may have different standards. I think there is a difference between academic activities such as tutoring and social calls. If I was to host a game night or tutoring session it would be on neutral ground such as a library, not my home.
