It’s easy to look at Virginia on the national level and think that but on the local level we’re being held up by McAuliffe’s veto pen. A few seats or the governor’s race swinging the wrong way could mean big trouble.
And yet he keeps being re-elected, the power of incumbency is real and Virginia is Gerryrigged. The only reason I’m not totally freaking out is that I’m worried about my own district.
As a resident of Virginia I’m more nervous about this than I am thrilled
