There’s also the issue of familial help. My parents had me young and are still working, my in-laws waited and now we are dealing with their decline and a young child. It is so hard to raise kids without help, especially considering childcare costs

Luckily (?) I am also mildly disabled so I grew up being stared at and having my body movements questioned so I am used to it to some degree. I almost always have headphones in unless I’m walking with my kid.
It’s not exactly easy for me to brush it off but the presence of another person makes it worse. It happened once when I was walking to the library with my child and it was hard to keep it together
My main form of exercise is walking and I get shouted out from people (sitting in cars!) about how I’m fat or need to exercise...which is what I’m doing
