Weyes Blood is amazing and Titanic Rising is probably the greatest soft rock album ever. I also didn’t grow up in the 1970s, so I probably just said something very, very blasphemous. Here’s another great track by her:

The commitment the developers put into this game is just insane. I remembered visiting their website all the way back in 2004 mere weeks after HL2's release, and then seeing the trailer 4 years later. And it’s still considered to be an early access game on their Steam page(!)
I was pleasantly surprised by how expansive this DLC is; I was expecting something along the like of the Headhunter packs.
Well, I hope we get new voice lines for the BL2 Vault Hunters. It really bothered me that no one acknowledged the fact that Maya was a Siren, despite Sirens playing a major role in BL2's plot.
You pretty much nailed it. It would have also helped if this hypothetical episode reminded us that Dany had punished/massacred civilians before (see Astapor, Meereen). Sure, some people will still think it’s a leap for Dany to turn heel despite these reminders, but at least it’s a hell of a lot more build up than what…
I think the title was implying that given how sports already uses non-FPTP (aka plurality) voting systems for a variety of events, A) It shouldn’t be too hard for Americans to understand and adopt an alternate system (like they did in Maine) because we’ve seen these non-FPTP concepts (approval, rank, score etc.) in…
Yeah, you definitely did not read this article. This article is not about whether we should fill out our ballots on computers/paper/cows etc. Rather, this article goes over ballot itself, specifically, how we can better select candidates using voting methods that’s different from the check one (and only one) candidate…
Thank you so much for writing this!
Not if you’ve been cheering for shitty-ass Atlanta-based teams your whole life, so you’re conditioned to celebrate anytime the Lakers, Yankees, Duke etc. suck or get eliminated.
Two years later and Nigeria (or a civilization from Nigeria) is still getting shafted. In fact, the pins make it look like Civ VI is actively avoiding that country like the plague. I guess Sid Meier didn’t like getting all those 419 emails.
Built to Spill vs. Bangtan Boys. Who you got in the matchup of BTS bands?
protagonists Dallas, Wolf, Chains, and Houston
As someone who grew in an area where most pizzas were New York Style or thinner (thank you pizza chain restaurants!), something like Chicago deep dish pizza, with its thick, buttery pie crust, just tastes so damn rich to me, so much so that I just find NY style pizza somewhat boring.
For some reason, I was thinking about Hipster Runoff a few days ago and, while doing some research, I discovered that Gawker had named HRO’s Carles as Hipster of the Decade back in 2009. And guess who wrote the article anointing Carles the title? That’s right, good old HamNo. Just something I discovered recently,…
Wow, what a brutal way for MSU to lose. And this could have been the school’s first team NCAA championship ever in their 100+ years of existence!
Here’s praying that we actually get bot support for this game. This game is too unique for its multiplayer to die once all the human players have moved on.
No mention of some of the awesome mods made for this game?
Shogun 2, Rome 2, Warhammer 2. Looks like Valve isn’t the only video game company that can’t count to 3.
