That's why my style (and wallet-ability) have been to leave things cosmetically untouched since I got sick of keeping my Camaro perfect way back in the 1990s. Yeah that about sums it up. I don’t know where the demarcation line is on what year carmakers suddenly were considered 99% negligent for a death when somebody slams into their vehicle in an almost-certainly-someone-will-die-from-this-speed-differential type accident, but that was the case here.

Hell you could have a reversible outer overdrive unit and do it too, but that’s still beside the point. We’re talking cars that exist, not fantasy weirdo mods nobody would ever do.
