1. Those cameras have been proven several times over to be crap and legally unenforceable (at least in most US states because you can’t “confront your accuser”).

Slightly off topic, but the “1619" hat is a good reminder to check out the 1619 Project from the NYT to learn about the legacy of enslavement and how it’s woven into the fabric of our society.
Why’s that? Because there were once white slaves too? Slavery isn’t the issue here (though it contributed to its creation). The issue is that Europeans created a clarification system with them on top and Africans on the bottom, making it “okay” to treat those of African decent poorly because “they’re lesser beings.”
