I’m hoping this motivates people to get out and vote Hillary so that the lunatic can’t become President. I’m hoping this is a kick in the ass so we don’t get complacent.

538? Hell.. .NPR was depressing this morning. In among several voter interviews they did, they interviewed this nicely racist couple from the South who complained about that whole kerfuffle with the Confederate flag (what’s the big deal, amirite?), and of course Obama being to blame for racism actually, oh.. and the…
I cried this morning, too. I read somewhere that this election is causing more people to see out mental health care to cope. I remember reading and thinking, yeah, that’s probably true. Then this morning I felt like I might actually need it myself.
I would feel so much better if Ohio and Florida would stop trending red. One of those states moving over the Hillary would be a huge relief and boost to the electoral math. I think there’s still enough time for this to shift, but god my nerves are shot.
Don’t cry. Minorities will save white people from themselves.
So 2016 has hands down been the worst year of my life -- multiple family deaths, parents divorcing, having to put my cat to sleep, getting laid off, and more -- but I’ve decided it will all be worth it if the election plays out like this:
I am getting legitimately scared that we are going to elect this racist into office. I’m actually starting to think of some sort of emergency contingent plan on what I will do if the bigot wins which probably means I’m getting the F out of this country... Am I being irrational here? Anyone else in a state of constant…
almost everyone i know in ohio is a “never hillary” former berner. they are refusing to vote at all and/or jumping ship to weed jesus (johnson) and the anti-vaxxer riding a unicorn (stein) . THESE are the people that need to be convinced.
So, in addition to making a dull, obvious, self-satisfied comment, you’re actually saying that, after everything that’s happened in this campaign up to now, you haven’t been able to make up your mind and you need three TV shows to tell you how to vote? And you’re proud to admit it?
It’s the summer of 1972. A young law student takes a job working for a prominent civil rights activist. She travels to the deep south, dangerously working to expose schools’ discrimination of black students.
If you’re waking up today to the news that José Fernández is dead, and perhaps don’t quite understand how…
This is probably the worst thing to happen in the south Florida sports community in a long, long time.
This is the most irrational comment ever.
Sure, but he faceplanted the right way.

You could make the case that they have the best park in the sport, the most interesting and engaging star in the sport (Jones), and the second best player in the AL (Machado). And they hit more home runs than anyone. In theory, that park should be packed.
Why doesn’t Adam come to my desk and cheer me on? I’m a winner too.
The irony, of course, is that if Trump or any of his like-minded followers were also randomly stopped and frisked, they’d lose their goddamned minds. They’d be screaming about the Founding Fathers and the “police state” in no time.
Or if you are going to freak out, freak out about things that are actually high risk. For example look at these causes of death from 2001 (a very bad year for terrorism as some may remember):
Yeah, it was that LATimes poll.
