To quote... myself, “anything worth remaking doesn’t need a remake.”

The Chrono Cross remaster is fine, just bare-bones.
The FF9 game was not listed as a “remaster,” which already exists, but a fully fledged Remake. Like, FF7 Remake style.
Needless to say that’s very hard to buy, and yet so far every other thing on the leak has been proven true.
We live in a prehistoric society...
Will we also have commercials like this one?
Seems weird to call this barebones when it’s the most Square-Enix has ever done for a PSX jrpg port. FF7 has no graphical improvements whatsoever, and although FF8 and 9 have high-res character models the backgrounds weren’t touched. And let me say, that contrast is stark, especially with knowledge that the FF9 Moguri…
I love how, instead of being happy the game is finally available again with a competent, improved remaster and with a first release of Radical Dreamers, everyone is pissed because it doesn’t meet their completely unrealistic expectations AND ignores the work that actually went into the game, like localizing Chrono…
Objectively terrible opinion. I’ll admit I wasn’t thrilled with it at first but once you understand the battle system it’s great fun. You can cheese it but if you know what you’re doing it’s an entirely different game.
At least the music is still good. When they announced that they were re-doinf the music. I was scared. Chrono Cross still has the best overworld music of all time.
Maybe the Baker Street Irregulars could carry a TV show? A bunch of homeless children solving mysteries in the vaguely steampunk world of the Downey movies?
“What if we made spin-off shows that lack anything that people liked about the movies?”
This is currently sitting at about 50 percent wholesome, which is probably the upward limit of wholesomeness allowed on the internet.
I mean , your name checks out , but as someone with kids , oh christ no.
The only thing I liked about e3 in recent years is that it always meant a specific time in which Nintendo would be forced to do a direct. Without that, they have even more opportunities to be overly sporadic.
It will be nice to not have to spend the entire day stalking Wario64's twitter for pre-orders that will sell out in 37 seconds.
Can’t we go back to making movies and shows about fake crime? It’s way less depressing.
A factionalized version of the story (tastelessness aside) could make for an interesting 80-minute movie, a boring 110 minute movie, or a bonkers 150 minute movie. At 8 hours they might as well commit to doing the story in real time.
An 8 HOUR movie. Who has time for 8 hours of this?
I have tried to watch Euphoria once or twice but it’s so dark and harrowing I had to stop after a while; stretching this awful story out for 8 hours seems like self-torture.
So they are going to compete wih gamepass by being worse and more expensive?
I think you might be confused; Will Smith is a podcaster and game developer, not an actor.
