They definitely don’t, and neither does anyone involved in the making of said movies. It’s just more plausible to an American with a foggy knowledge of geography that if you go looking for tiny little absolute monarchies, you’ll find them next to Denmark. Shrug.

Do either of those princes ever travel to a small American town during Christmas and fall for a college student who bakes muffins for a living? Because Hallmark tells me that happens all the time.

Oof. Even I’ve never been THAT harsh.

This was a really entertaining post — I wish you were writing for the site. But I will nitpick that there was definitely a recession somewhere in between 1996 and 2007. It was not as bad as the economic tsunamis we would get later on, but you can’t really group the 2000s in with the 1990s.

I don’t know what the statute of limitations is in Eric’s kingdom, but Ariel is explicitly stated to be 16. Either they got married as teenagers, or it’s worse.

Don’t use that emoji unless you mean it, Ubisoft. You better mean it.

I want this to be made law just to annoy them.

It’s a Paramount show, right? What streaming service is Paramount attempting to start?

Not sure what to think. They’re gaining An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn, but they’re losing The Day My Butt Went Psycho!: Season 1-2.

Plus, she’s great at making voices -- no filter necessary!

I feel like, to an extent, Supergirl never recovered from the loss of Calista Flockhart. Cat Grant brought a special bit of humor to the show that has been sorely missing since.

If it were Nicole Kang, the show would REALLY be screwed.

Oh wow — great idea! She looks nearly the same, and she was so underused on Grimm.

I can’t be the only one who read this with Rick’s voice.

Licensed, not owned.

Allen Gregory was entirely his own idea.

It really depends on the show. Serialized programs like The CW’s suffer under padding, but there are programs that do a lot of episodes and are fine (mot comedies for example). I would be sad if there was no show I could reliably watch all year ‘round.

This will be the last Sunday for a long time where there will be actual things to watch on broadcast TV. See you in 2021, networks! Maybe.

And these sites keep wondering why we have to block ads.
