The One True Opinion

If we get Republic of Sarah, I bet we don’t see it until the summer after the season is over.

Clearly they were hoping to please the AV Club reviewer so he wouldn’t call it a male gaze movie. They lost that bet.

Good, I’m not alone. Is he a comedian? A musician? I’d heard the name before, but it was all I had to go on, and until now my assumption was that he was a black rapper.

These days, I’m surprised when an actor DOESN’T have a foreign accent when the cameras aren’t rolling.

What does one do when they suddenly can’t run a Super Bowl ad? They cost a ton of money. Is it still possible to get a refund? Did Planters save the receipt?

Well, ironically, The Scarlet Letter skewers cancel culture pretty hard.

LOL, “Eye of the Tiger” was so on the nose, but I prefer that to N*SYNC.

And Batwoman again proves it’s one of the smarter CW-verse shows by not killing off the good Beth after only one episode. If we were watching Arrow, Beth-2 would have died in that car for sure.

I want to believe, but Kate’s shrug means she’s still cruelly lying to Mary about everything. What’d Mary do to deserve any of this?

So, I take it no one working for AVC has seen the Ren & Stimpy documentary yet. I say this because the moment one of them does, WE WILL DEFINITELY HEAR FROM THEM, and boy will there be profanities....

You don’t actually believe they killed off Nancy Drew, do you? At a time when she’s just as lucrative as ever and has her own CW series?

Not a bad pick for paradise.....it has every TV show ever made, even the two unaired episodes of 1969's Turn-On which have never leaked online.

That would’ve been perfect. He left at EXACTLY the wrong time.

Calvin made a snowman about this. “The Torment Of Existence Weighed Against The Sheer Horror Of Nonbeing.”

I feel like, television-wise, we live in blessed times, with hundreds of hours of smart prestige programs on cable and streaming, and because of this, there is no excuse to watch a single minute of HGTV instead.

“the actress is on another upcoming show”

That isn’t very far off from some actual, serious comments in this thread.

It felt like, for an hour, I was watching a CW knockoff that was trying to rip off Batwoman with D-caliber actors and one-tenth the budget.

What does being old have to do with it? That song could have been sung exactly as-is twenty years ago; it would blend right into a 98 Degrees album.

Oh man. Sara grabs Ava, dips and gives her the Coming Home From World War II Special, Ava FAINTS, Sara GIVES THE THUMBS UP. When I watch a show, THIS kind of romance is what I want to see, and I almost never get it. It’s all needless drama and manufactured hatred. Except for here!
