It was probably on purpose, because in those days, they didn’t care quite as much. Disney Adventures would sometimes print comic adaptions of major movies and the issues would hit stands before the movies opened. I knew the plot of the first half of The Lion King before I saw it.

Here’s a real obscurity....Golan The Insatiable. Only six episodes were created, and they were burned off in the summer of 2015. But boy, did that crew make the best of the little they were given. If you can somehow find the series, you’ll enjoy it.
