The One True Opinion

I remember one getting a ton of press because it was.....Laugh-In. As in...Paul and Jamie fall asleep and then the episode turns into an episode of Laugh-In for a few minutes. My parents never watched the show, but they tuned in for that one. There were sure a lot of Boomers who wanted to see six more minutes of

We can certainly try. Here’s my attempt:

As one of Riff’s great followers, I sure hope Central time is one hour ahead of Pacific time, and not two, because if it’s the former I’ll have just made it under the tag. I need this thing.

I totally got them mixed up. I was thinking throughout that interview, “But you got to do Back To You and those Albertsons commercials, didn’t you?”

I don’t see how Mr. Robot can return if he’s the spitting image of Elliot’s molester. How could he even look at him anymore?

Julia instantly establishes herself as a much more captivating love interest for Kate than Sophie will ever be, and yet Sophie gets 83% of this episode and probably many more to come.

If YouTube is good for anything, that clip will be on it.

One thing I hadn’t realized until now....the fact that Oliver & Company was frontloaded with radio bait was definitely a response to American Tail. Billy Joel, Huey Lewis, and Bette Midler all did original songs as themselves, but none became hits. (“Why Should I Worry” should’ve been a hit IMO.)

Lately this site has produced some of the worst reviews I’ve ever read, but for weekly reviews of TV shows, I don’t know where else to go. AV Club used to be the best. What’s the best now?

Actually, the decay started shortly after the site was folded into GMG and Kinja-fied. This is sadly on brand for what AVC has become.

There were definitely diminishing returns as the concept wore itself out. Tarzan was the breaking point, no radio station wanted anything to do with Phil Collins in 1999.

This is the first time I have ever come across such an acronym. What does it mean?

I would be far more interested in Elsa confronting the fact that she can create sentient snow-life, making her a snow goddess by definition. Apparently Olaf spends a lot of time in this confronting his mortality? That should’ve jarred Elsa a little. She can’t make a Snow Heaven.

Especially since there hasn’t been a legal way to watch the original in over 25 years.

‘Cause that’s boring!

I wouldn’t call these “deep cuts” — by my definition, a Deep Cut is something a significant portion of the population has never heard of. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is not a Deep Cut. The North Avenue Irregulars is a Deep Cut.

This is my concern also. The Berlantiverse has never been good at coming up with strong villains. Alice is the most interesting one we’ve seen in a while, and if they turn out to be stupid enough to kill her off.....we’re in for a lethargic, weak Season 2.

You think this is bad.....count how many “relative of Santa” movies there have been in the last dozen years. Over 20 by my figure.

The moment “I Remember You” first aired on Adventure Time, and the world was formally introduced to Rebecca Sugar.

I wish I could be friends with the crowd I saw Into The Spider-Verse with. It was opening day, and the room was sparse but everyone in it was savvy and recognized everything. When the blonde first popped up in Miles’ school, I heard a woman whisper to her boyfriend two seats above, “GWEN.” When the credits rolled,
