Dinan usually keeps the manufacturers warranty. At least that’s how my z3 coupe with dinan bits is

I’ve driven both and I’ll take any 08-now cooper s with a manual over a bullshit Saab. I drove a 9-3 with a manual recently and it wasn’t an understeerjng floaty pig compared to a nimble hot hatch that usually rides horrible due to run flat tires

This is literally a wagon. Idk why all of jalopnik is freaking out

Those vent stuff first came on the 18 e coupes. They’re off putting to me in an otherwise amazing car. I woul probably take an e400 coupe over an s coupe.

Uhhh... I work at a Benz dealer and not a single car has a touchscreen lol

I can never get past the newer BMWs idrive bullshit. I’m a BMW fanboy but the benz controls are so much easier to operate. I’m glad my clownshoe is old fashioned and doesn’t have any of that crap

My z3 coupe was the same way. I’ve tried e36s with the stock and it’s definitely not as good. Something like the 63 corvair I had for a bit would be awfu with short throws

Used prices also seem to be coming back to pre cash for clunkers prices thankfully

Get a C43 and thank me later

Old SLs aren’t that expensive. You’d be better buying a well sorted one or a runner of which there’s are many than dumping thousands trying to fix one up

Especially because unless I know you personally how would I believe that you know the exact issue and aren’t hiding not a bigger problem. Plus Ron barely even knows most of these vehicles so I’m sure they’re mostly basketcases

I’m so jealous. Any BMW at that price in pa is most likely some rusted 200k+ mile e36 that isn’t even a desirable trim

I think a lot of it depends on the climate. On a nice fall day in the northeast when leaves are everywhere but the tempature is still right, a drive in a convertible is so much fun. I’ve never had near as much fun in a car as I had this summer driving at night in an mg midget with the top down. It’s just a more real

you never like to roll your windows down? Some days the temperature is just so nice and you get to enjoy the outdoors. Do you also not like riding in convertibles?

It’s ugly for sure but two spoke wheels are so nice for cruising around

We just had a pristine sl500 from 2002 with less than 20000 miles at Putnam dealership. Plenty of people take great care of their cars. And the gtc is also much more of a special car than an sl. Plenty of people daily SLs whereas a GT is usually more of a weekend car

You gotta find a designo interior sl

Ugh but the clutch release point and feel of every Honda I’ve driven is high and seem so to offer so little control compared to what I’m used to

I’ve Alain been surprised by that too. I hadn’t a corvair for my first car and now a z3 coupe, both old (though one is much older) and ive been shocked at how easy some stuff is to find

They went quickly from having the worst of the big German 3 interior so to now having by far the best imo
