I need some of you tire experts to help me find a good set of tires. I have some BMW DS1 235/40 r17 wheels that I plan to put on my Z3 once the winters come off. Now I just need to find a solid set of summer tires.
I’m really really gonna miss this car. Found out today she has a cracked oil pan in addition to all the suspension damage from my offroading excursion which means she’ll likely be totaled.
No body damage, but both right side wheels are destroyed and who knows underneath :-(
Another V12 is dead. Just got the news from Mercedes that 2019 is the last year of the S65 Coupes and Cabriolets
My E34 just had your classic tv/movie style breakdown, smoking hood, big puddle, etc.
I can’t believe stuff like this exists lol. Who is purchasing these?
Pic for your time
I know I’m two days late but I wanted to share the awesome gift I got from my girlfriend. It’s from the night I drove my new e34 back from Ohio 11 hours after driving all night and morning to buy it. Not sure how I can top this with any of the Christmas gifts I have for her though
Came out of the house today to see some lovely damage to the rear bumper and quarter panel. Already having a rough week with my apartment flooding Wednesday and now this. Hope y’all are having better weeks than I am
Two opposite kinds of news I have today. I’ll do the bad first. My newly repaired z3 coupe threw a CEL yesterday for lean fuel trim in both banks and the idle is awful. I’m assuming there’s a vacuum leak or something somewhere but haven’t been able to get a good enough look yet. For the good news, I had new engine and…
Now that my Z3 coupe is back in running shape I’m looking to get a better shift knob for it. The car has a short shift kit and has always felt a little off with the stock shift knob. I’m thinking of getting this tall shift knob from condor but am open to any interesting options y’all have.
Finally got to drive my clownshoe for the first time since November today :-) couldn’t be happier. The rear floor pan is all fixed up and the suspension geometry is actually correct for the lowering kit the PO had installed. The car already handled great but it’s much more neutral now. All in all a pretty exciting day…
Finally ordered some new LED bulbs for the five series. It’s my daily and the old bulbs were just too dim for my liking. I’m waiting for my flight to Alabama to see the Mercedes factory and am bored so I shopped lol. Bonus pics of a cool diesel rabbit I saw yesterday and my beautiful stationary clownshoe
So I’ve discovered it’ll be about 4500 total to get my Z3 Coupe back in solid shape. It needs a whole new trunk floor because the welds poppi allowed it to crack almost all the way through and it also needs almost every bushing for the rear and front as well as new diff mounts and some other stuff. I’m having a hard…
Changed out my old leaking valve cover gaskwts for new ones :-)
Hey guys, so I just bought a 1995 530i (my first v8!) and I’m thinking about getting alpina replica wheels shifter and steering wheel. Anyone know where I could find good 16" e34 alpina wheels or replicas preferably.
So I recently became the owner of a lovely 500$ 1998 corolla as a winter daily. Looking for some fun cheaper mods I can do for fun. I’m changing the valve cover gasket this week and giving her an oil change. I also have to fix the passengers side door handle once the part comes in but that should be very easy. Was…
I think I’m going to be buying a 500$ 98' Toyota Corolla. I’m hoping for it to be a good car to get me through the winter until i can fix or sell my Z3 Coupe. What do you guys think of it? It’s got 130 some thousand miles but I figure a Corolla should be able to go a good bit past that if I maintain it well. Right now…
