I still love Once More With Feeling a lot, despite everything. I mostly love BTVS and musicals, so it was kind of a ‘two great tastes that taste great together!’ kind of thing. It works as a meta-commentary on musicals as well as being a pretty decent musical in its own right. I dunno, it brings me joy.

I don’t understand that attitude. What does Whedon being a good person have to do with whether Buffy is a good show?

I don’t like it when fans “demand” that some celebrity say something or stand up for their causes. It’s creepy and weird. They don’t owe you that. Also, once you “demand” it, then it becomes performative, even if it’s how they truly feel. 

Joss must have been a real monster. There is no excuse for this behavior and it saddens me that some of the characters that I grew up with and love, were fighting monsters both on screen and on set.

She said “He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again” which sounds like it was after a specific event, not based on an existing rule.
