How is going to prison not a punishment?
How is going to prison not a punishment?
For the record, South Korea is infamously unreasonable on this matter. They regularly jail pacifist religious preachers for conscientious objection despite very obviously meeting all of the qualifications the court cited.
I feel the same way about Xbox that you feel about Playstation, but agreed that it’s better for everyone if we don’t have console exclusives. I’m never going to buy another Xbox again anyway, but I honestly wouldn’t have any problems if the games I love on my PS5 went over to Xbox. It benefits consumers to have that…
That last point is a big/interesting question to me. If MS & Sony are no longer console or storefront competitors and MS is just a (very big) publisher that also offers Game Pass, would Sony be willing to allow Game Pass on their console? If they did, they would obviously get a cut of the subscriptions, so I think it…
I’m always a fan of more people playing games. Exclusivity is an anti-consumer practice and I’d love Playstation fans to get the games I play on the console they want.
The whole point of having F U money is saying F U to more money.
I don’t want Talking Heads to get back together if they don’t enjoy it. They don’t seem to have the Fleetwood Mac alchemy of thriving on pissed off energy.
There was some good stuff in S2, but I’m satisfied where S1 ended.
Nah, The Root and Deadspin dropped comments because Great Hill Partners fucked the writers on those verticals so bad that they all left and had to be resurrected with inferior writers and independent contractors that they could pay less and would “stick to sports.”
I didn’t get the sense watching the last season that anything was unresolved. I’m sure the writers and producers had ideas, but I was satisfied with where Season 4 ended. They also claim that they weren’t making it up as they went along but seasons 3 & 4 absolutely felt that way, and I say that as a Westworld…
Bergman wouldn’t miss an episode of Dallas, according to his diaries (RW Fassbinder was also a huge fan). Terrence Malick is a Zoolander super fan up to the point that Sean Penn had Ben Stiller record a video message in character for Malick’s birthday. Kubrick loved The Jerk and White Men Can’t Jump, among others.…
on the other hand I’d hardly describe Fielder’s work as lowbrow
It’s kind of hard to imagine Christopher Nolan watching television; as the most consistently prestigious of Hollywood’s big-budget genre directors, there’s an intellectualism to both Nolan’s work, and his public persona, that sort of defies the mental image of him sitting down on the couch, remote in hand.
Satire isn’t a legal excuse to claim fair use. Parody is, though.
The scales of the models being near identical was the most damning evidence of plagiarism against Palworld
Think the question is more does every game need to be this?
Don’t think of it as modifying, think of it as zooming in on one model so they both line up.
Scaling is not modifying. 3D modeling/sculpting software are all different in units of size/scale. You could make a desk lamp model in Modeling Software A, import it into Modeling Software B, and instead sitting nicely on top of a desk, the lamp is the size of the desk itself. One *must* adjust the scale in order to…
Copyright is automatically granted for creative works and, for companies, lasts for 95 years.
They have copyright, what they don’t have is the trademark. Seems pedantic but it is a meaningful distinction
