is this one of those “yeah art is just a way to waste time” things? or do you really think video games by definition are valueless beyond pure dopamine pump time suck?

The main issue is that the end results just aren’t particularly convincing. They feel very stilted and unnatural. Also, I’m not looking forward to having to actually speak or type out all of my dialogue choices. That’s going to get old real quick.
That’s not even a dig against kotaku or other gaming sites, people like OP honestly dont realize that these of us who pay attention to gaming news and such make up like, a *fraction* of the gaming audience. The overwhelming majority of people who played games just like...see ‘The New Thing' on a walmart shelf and get…
Yeah, you are immensely overestimating the influence this site would have had on sales in general. The average person isn’t paying the slightest attention to news sites (or blogs, in this case) or JKR in general, and the Harry Potter universe already had a massive fan base. I don’t believe Kotaku would have swung the…
Rowling is a cunt, just like you.
You should probably not watch this show anymore if you’re so mad that it’s not a different show. I’m sure that show is out there. If the writing you are looking for resembles “travel all the way up to inner crevasse’s of his ego,” however, you might be SOL.
The impression I got (though it isn’t stated, so anything’s possible) is that Gator is broken enough by his experience to fess up to everything. For the crimes he committed with Daddy Tillman he might get some leniency for cooperating, and the fact that he’s been blinded by a maniac might get him some sympathy, but…
I just want to give a big tip of the hat to Winston Bishop, who moved onward and upward from “New Girl” beautifully. This was a great part in a great show and he was wonderful. Hoping this leads to more quality high-profile work for him- I am thrilled for him. And- I guess- to Jon Hamm for finally convincing me that…
No, it makes sense. Communion and Jesus sacrifice is meant to offer eternal life in heaven, not on earth. What Munch has been ‘living’ through is literally hell on earth, devoid of love and kindness, serving penance for the sins of the rich. Death of his earthly body leads to eternal life spiritually, his…
It’s still a small target. So Witt aims at the knee or calf and misses, guess what? He gets stabbed and dies. Hell, even if he hits him, he still probably gets stabbed because they tell you shots to the limbs often won’t stop a determined attacker. Witt really had one option, shoot Tillman several times in the chest…
It's an anthology show. So while some seasons do have callbacks and character reappearance, you can watch any season as a standalone. This one especially works by itself.
Meh, he spent 100 years totally alone, speaking to nobody. He’d be fine.
I like that this ending focussed on forgiveness. ‘Fargo’ tends to deal with the concept of justice in very retributive terms, which can make for good drama, but it’s not often that it gets into the kind of healing that needs to take place afterwards. Dot’s act of kindness towards Munch is such a moment of grace, and I…
It’s very easy to take what Munch says seriously, because he speaks in absolutes. (“A man does this, a man does that.”) But there’s no reason to suspect he’s right about everything. He was born 500 years ago, he has a mindset for a very different time.
I’m satisfied with the ending. Not enough for Indira to do for my taste, but otherwise I think the season (which had its suspect moments) ends strongly. I’m frustrated Whitt went down, but in an “Aw, fiddlesticks!” kind of way. At least they honored his memory with grace.
Yeah, that’s not true. The chest/torso is a bigger target and you’re more likely to hit it. Hollywood has people thinking its so easy to hit arms or legs in firefights and that’s just not true at all. They’re smaller targets and that’s not even taking into account other factors like they could be moving (making them…
The Fargo theme playing over Munch eating the biscuit and closing the season was *chef’s kiss*
Killing Witt was gratuitous. Him not shooting Roy in the leg made him look incompetent. Couldn’t he have at least been wearing a bulletproof vest to make the stabbing less fatal?
“A man has a code”?
