I assume the UK media has now claimed her as British , as is tradition when anyone Irish wins an award.

the then-CEO sure didn’t and they gave the order. They need to pay

Wait a minute... corporate executives actually got jail time? That’s quite surprising.

Anybody but Moff Gideon. I really liked Giacarlo Esposito’s character in seasons 1 & 2 of The Mandalorian, when he was a smart & cunning tactician. In season 3 they did a full 180 on the character. All of a sudden he’s a skilled fighter, who can hold his own with the heroes, dressed in a Darth Vader-esque suit of armor

I think we have a tendency to blame the significant others of deeply troubled celebrities we care about. I feel a real connection to Kurt Cobain through his music, which makes me feel almost as if I know him. I care far less about Courtney Love. So it’s easier for me to dismiss Love as a deeply troubled addict, even

I think what I want most is for it to tie into the rest of the Star Wars fiction as little as possible. And I’m a huge Star Wars fan! Seen all of Clone Wars and Rebels and love that stuff. But I enjoy The Mandalorian way more when he is meeting all these new characters, fighting new creatures, visiting new locales.

That problem isn’t that people like Majors don’t know they shouldn’t abuse people. It’s that they don’t think their actions are abusive.

As Daniella stated, that’s narcissism. A narcissist can’t ever admit they have flaws, so any mistakes that were made were by other people.

“Majors’ lawyer should have told not to do a thing that makes him look worse” has been a running theme in this case, second only to “Majors’ lawyer should not have done a thing that makes him look worse.”

well my point was that comparing the two doesn’t make any sense.

chris brown’s career was more successful after he beat up rihanna. he literally sold more records after than before.

I think Adapted Screenplay being seen as a lesser award than Original is true, makes some sense, and largely explains this controversy. In the kind of adaptation that most people think of first, one that hews closely to the story of, say, a book, a chunk of the work has been done for you before you sit down to write.

10000 years from now, gholas of George Washington and Gene Roddenberry lead a ragtag rebellion against an evil empire.

Farscape is amazing. I doubt they could get the cast back, but I wouldn’t say no to Farscape: Next Generation.

I don’t think Moore had anything to do with the Pah’wraith stuff, looking at the credits on the episodes involving them (I can’t see his name on any of them, whereas his are on a lot of the more military/intrigue-heavy ones - and the baseball one!), and further, even if Moore does “write as he goes”, DS9 had a

And did Birds of Prey fail to connect, or did it have trouble because it came out right before the pandemic started?”

To paraphrase Richard Spencer: “We expect our opponents to preserve freedom of speech, but we have no obligation to support it once we take power.”

For 2, its the person, not the crime. They do not give a single solitary fuck about the crime, it’s the person that’s bad and must be stopped.

At least be intellectually consistent.”

1. Does Alex Jones make any money off of this? If so, pretty much every cent (besides the absolute minimum expenses needed to survive at poverty level) should go to the victims he owes from his defamation case (which he cowardly declared bankruptcy to try and avoid).
