Let’s go with yes! That night was such a blur, but I know that he did not smell in any way unpleasant, so cookies and freedom seems a fair assessment.
Unfortunately not a way that could be easily replicated. He came to my caucus site in 2008 when he was still Senator Obama. I was helping direct people around as it was my old HS, to the point that I was mistaken for a campaign volunteer and had someone tell me that the Senator was there if I wanted to say hello. You…
I have hugged him, and it really was the best. I also never fail to tell people that I have hugged him, especially when provided with minimal prompting (like someone mentioning hugging Obama.) It’s a good goal!
As a native Iowan, I can tell you that I have literally never seen anyone open-carrying in my home state. I was honestly surprised that we do have open carry laws when you said that, and had to double-check.
Not that I have strong feelings about the show Baby Daddy, but if you read the link you find that show wasn’t cancelled; they merely scrapped production while he’s recovering from his injuries. One presumes the show will be back in all its baby-and-daddy glory sometime later.
So much gossip floating around the Internet about the state of Jimmy Fallon, so little time: http://blindgossip.com/?p=74481#more-…
Although I share the perhaps universal dream of taking up residence in an IKEA, I have to be satisfied with a home merely full of IKEA products (including the lingonberry preserves that they sell in the cafe.) Making the meatballs at home are pretty easy though!
Last night was Swedish meatballs with lingonberry preserves, tonight is fried green tomatoes to use what’s left on my tomato plants before it gets much colder. Here’s to using what happens to be in the fridge/yard!
And Iowa wins, suckers: http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/2…
No Five Guys?
No, I consider it a comedy with romantic undertones, but for Mr. Burners, he seems to lump movies starring women with elements of comedy and romance into a single category.
Trainwreck is fun! I saw it last night, and enjoyed it. Dragged husband as well and he said it was “pretty good, but not as good as Bridesmaids,” which he genuinely enjoyed. I took it as a win!
Small note that Amy’s sister’s odd son is her stepson, so she is not “pregnant again,” just pregnant. I understand these things happen, but considering there’s a whole scene devoted to the dad stating that the new baby will be his first grandchild, to his daughter’s anger, it’s a little sloppy.
Australian Cattle Dog, otherwise known a Blue Heeler. Australian Shepherds are a diff breed.
I got married two years ago, and had the inverse of your situation. Wedding was supposed to be outdoors at a winery, at a time of year in which the average temp was 76 degrees. Three days before the wedding, I drove home in 80 degrees. Next day, I woke up to a mix of snow and sleet. Wedding day was 45-50ish with snow…
I got into a major discussion with the Mr. Burners last year when attending his best friend’s wedding, as he wanted to gift him with a check that was exactly equivalent to what we had been presented with the previous year when we married. Although I understood the sentiment, I argued the 1) our wedding had required…
This x100000000. One of the few things strictly verboten at my party. The point of the evening for me was to look fabulous while having fun with my friends, and this wasn't happening if I was carrying around some stupid novelty item (not to mention I thought it a huge waste of money for something that would…
I am one of the few, the proud, the three-years people. First year=graduate school, second year=long distance due to first grad job, year three=living in the same place again due to new job. Then moving in, followed by engagement and the whole rigmarole. Coming up on six years, still together and all that jazz,…
No problem. Tone is so hard to judge online! I know I get a little defensive when articles like these come out simply because I had such a positive experience, but I try to remember that it's different everywhere and doesn't change the fact that other people had genuinely awful experience in conjunction with the…
